    I like Gaiman’s quote! Can’t remember who said it but there is a quote about treating writing like any other job. People have the romantic idea of sitting down and being struck by the lightning of inspiration. At least in my experience, it’s a grind and hard work, churning out page after page until at the end of that first draft you sit back and think what all the fuss was about!

      I completely understand! Sometimes if I manage to get a page written, that’s an achievement. And the times when I am utterly inspired, I always have to go back and edit, edit, edit.
